Project Type: Rebranding

Background: PMGSP is a small non profit organization for people with the Myasthenia Gravis autoimmune disease. Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disease characterized by muscle weakness of the voluntary muscles. The more these muscles are used, the more they weaken.

Objective: To rebrand PMGSP's identity. Client wanted a cleaner and modern visual.

Old Logo

The old logo had too much detail and colors

Initial Drafts

I made 2 variations that would make use of symbolisms of MG and the fact that PMGSP is a Filipino society.

New Logo

Client chose the first variation and I refined it. The logo symbolizes a snowflake because MG is often referred to as "the snowflake disease" which means that MG affects each person differently and likewise, treatment must be individualized.
